If your child had COVID and did not attend school between August through February you should have received P-EBT benefits. If your child did not receive benefits or you do not agree with the amount of benefits received, please see the documents below. We received an email today to let us know you have until Friday May 5th to request a reconsideration.

2017-2018 Special Education Records to be Destroyed

Please be advised that the Johnson County Board of Education, Special Education Department, 211 North Church St, Mountain City, TN, will be destroying Special Education records for the 2017-2018 school year.

Items included are psychological, IEP's, and assessment data. These records need to be picked up no later than June 15, 2023, if you are interested in obtaining a copy.

HVAC Bid for MCE 


Sealed bids will be accepted until 2:00 P.M. September 21st, 2022 at the Johnson County Schools Central Office at 211 North Church Street, Mountain City, TN 37683, on the following items for Johnson County Schools. A public bid opening meeting will be held at the above time and location.

Bids for:

6- HVAC units and installation for Mountain City Elementary

Specifications and bid forms are available at Johnson County Schools Central Office at the receptionist's desk. Interested parties may call 423-727-2640 with any questions. Johnson County Schools reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all bids. There will be a mandatory walkthrough to look at equipment to be replaced on Wednesday, September 14th, at 10:00 A.M
